The Ontario Dance & DanceSport Organization (ODDSO) is a not-for-profit organization whose aim is to maintain throughout Ontario an organization of qualified Ballroom Dance Instructors, Adjudicators, Coaches, and Scrutineers, as well as Competition Organizers and Professional, Amateur, Pro-Am Competitors, and to advance competitions in the field of Ballroom Dance.

Mission

• Promote friendship and the exchange of ideas and information among the Dance Professionals of Ontario, and to provide an organization to represent Nationally and Internationally, Ontario Dancers who are members of the Corporation.
• Encourage a high standard of ethics among organizers, coaches, instructors, and dancers.
• Provide opportunities for education in specific dance disciplines and travel to competition for dancers.

Objectives

• Represent and support the Ontario DanceSport Professional and the associated Dance industry.
• Provide information and actively promote DanceSport.
• Provide workshops to assist competitors and DanceSport teachers and coaches.
• Work in harmony with the Ontario Amateur DanceSport Association and its National body, the Canadian Amateur DanceSport Association.
